The weight saving on the DIAMANTE model (53cm frame weight is 830 grams before paint) has been obtained by focusing on: creating a monocoque without utilizing any aluminium reinforcement parts; re-positioning the carbon fibers in the critical steering and bottom bracket areas providing a 15g weight reduction in the steering and 25g weight reduction in the bottom bracket. The DIAMANTE utilizes Toray T1000 and T800 High Modulus carbon fiber pre-preg.
